In review of older building permit files, it was discovered there is an open permit for a
deck. The last inspection was dated January 31, 2005. Corrections listed at the last
inspection are:
1. Provide min. 6' 8" headroom, for min.3' wide at the stairs.
2. Provide guard rails. For all areas over 30" above grade
3. Stair treads or risers shall have a maximum difference of3/8"
4. Provide graspable hand rail
5. Maximum riser opening is 4"

The City would like your cooperation to provide access for a progress inspection. Please
call for a inspection by March 14,2008. Ifthere has been no inspection by March 14,
2008, the City will deem the permit abandoned and invalid per State Building Code
R105.3.2. This will be recorded in the permanent public record. Any additional work will
require new permits.
