I compared the NER report to the design detail prepared by Cole Group Architects. The deviation from the listed assembly in the NER report is the replacement of the tension wire supporting the fiberglass insulation above the gypsum ceiling with an additional layer of 5/8" Type 'X' gypsum board (see proposed alternate architectural design detail). All other components specified meet the NER report requirements. It has been brought to our a1\ention that trusses over the bearing walls have been cut by the plumbers. If a truss is sitting on a bearing wall, it IS essentially just an extension of the wall. Therefore, whore the trusses have been cut, they need to put an upright on both ~;id()s,n~1? ~rllsses also need to have uprights added 16" ole for the next four feet in both clirections.
