WALKER AVENUE VACATION
This memo is to identify the proceedings of the Walker Avonue
Vacation, and delineate at least a portion of who owns that
vacated area adjacent to Lots 5 , 6 Block 3 prior Lake original
Townsite.
When a street or alley is vacated the abutting property owners.
by virtue ofpropertyowner~hip, xeceive one half ot the width of
the vacated street or alley which abuts their property. YoU are
one. property owner and the other is the state of Minnesota (MN
DOT) because of Highway 1~ right-of-way on the east side uf the
vacated Walker Avenue.
It may be in your best interesttodeteaine if you received all
af th.e. vacated. Walker. Avenue or just one half of it. We
discussed the issue of perhaps needing to supply a more complete
title opinion~hould you decide to sell the property at some
future date.
