PROPOSED BUSINESS DESCRIPTION
The primary duty ofCSA-PREPSTAR is to work with high school student athletes and their
parents to create sports and academic portfolios or personal bios. These portfolios will show
each student athlete's accomplishments both academically and athletically.
The personal portfolios will be emailed to the home office in Los Angeles, California, and will
subsequently be emailed to a maximum of 150 collegiate coaches in each student's particular
sport.
With CSA-PREPSTAR, families can decide where in the country to send their personal
portfolios. For example, a family can ask to have their portfolio sent to 20 schools in the
Midwest and to 130 schools on the east coast.
The objective ofCSA-PREPSTAR is to help student athletes and their families attain as much
recognition as possible from colleges so they may possibly receive scholarships or other types of
aid, and to continue playing the sport in which they excel. There are many high school athletes
who can play collegiate sports at many levels, but are not recognized because they are not the
"superstar" ofthe team. CSA-PREPSTAR can help get them noticed by colleges anywhere in
the country.
CSA-PREPST AR will conduct interviews with student athletes and parents at the families' place
of residence. Very few, if any, interviews will be conducted at 14565 Surrey Lane in Prior Lake
due to the inconvenience it would cause the families.
The type of work conducted at the place of business is creating personal portfolios and working
on the Internet to gain statistical sporting information on athletes. The only equipment
requirements are a computer, printer and fax machine.
