(The same location as our temporary banner.) I have included 3 copies of the drawings for your review. We understand that there was some opposition to any sign placement on the building itself, and we were hoping that this location would be an acceptable compromise. As you can see by the estimate enclosed, this is no small expense for us, but it is crucial for us to be a success, protecting our already sizable investment. We are confident that a sign on the traffic side of the building is essential to bringing customers in that might not realize that we are open or even there. Many coffee purchases are impulse buys, so "top of mind" is very important. We will need to build more sales than what is possible from walk-by traffic alone. We know that the City realizes the importance of good signage, as is evidenced by U's own Sign Ordinance. Anyone of my Domino's Pizza Landlords would help me and encourage me to get and erect the nicest sign that I can afford and the nicest sign the city will allow.
