I called Ron on 9/14/98 to inform him that this property appears to have a bluff on it and that a topographic survey with contours would need to be provided in order to further process the permit application or that a downsized project without a permit could be undertaken if the movement of soil is limited to 10 C.Y.. Ron felt that neither of these alternatives were good ones. He does a significant number of these projects and feels that we need to find a way to permit these large scale projects to be done on lakeshore lots. He would like to meet with City staff and invite others from his profession to attend to see what can be done. A tentative date is Thursday, 9/24/98 at 8:30 AM.. September 7, 1999 Ron Anderson Final Grade, Inc. P.O.Box 10 Prior Lake, MN 55372 SUBJECT: APPLICATION FOR EXCA V ATING/FILLING PERMIT LOTS 37 AND 38 Dear Mr. Anderson: The Engineering and Planning Departments have reviewed the subject permit application for the subject property and require the following information prior to approval: 1. The plan must clearly show the existing and proposed contours. The plan that was provided is too difficult to read. 2. Heavy duty silt fence must be shown on the plan. Silt curtain may be required for activity along the lake shore. 3. Land disturbing activity below the 904 elevation may require a DNR permit. 4. A $50.00 permit fee, a security in the amount of $1 ,500.00 per disturbed acre and insurance certificate are also required prior to issuance of a permit. If you have any questions, please call me at 447-9832. Sincerely, ~J)~~if Sue McDermott, P.E.
