WITH WINGS AND A HALO - R.E.A.C.H. A CHILD
The purpose of "With Wings and a Halo - R.E.A.C.H. a Child" is to reach out to
children across America that find themselves in a crisis situation, whether they
are being treated in a Children's Hospital, a domestic violence situation, an
automobile accident or children who are temporarily homeless or in distress.
The main program under the "With Wings and a Halo - R.E.A.C.H. a Child"
umbrella is called the "B.A.C.K. Packets" program, which is currently in 4,000 to
5,000 squad cars and ambulances throughout all 72 counties in Wisconsin and
parts of Illinois. The Prior Lake Police Department is the first in Minnesota to
participate.
Accompanied by Sergeant John Stanger, Kris Ackley, the Executive Director for
Minnesota and a Prior Lake resident, is here tonight to explain With Wings & a
Halo.
