Items marked Recommendation are not required by the applicable code but are opportunities to improve the Life Safety of the property. Sprinklers No Free of foreign materials including paint? Tape on heads up high on 1st floor by bump outs of glass. NFPA-25-2002 5.2.1.1 Sprinklers shall be inspected from the floor level annually. Sprinklers shall be free of corrosion, foreign materials, paint, and physical damage and shall be installed in the proper orientation (e.g., upright, pendant, or sidewall). Any sprinkler shall be replaced that is painted, corroded, damaged, loaded, or in the improper orientation. Valve Interior Inspection NA Check valves internally inspected and all parts operate properly, move freely and are in good condition? Not at 5 year yet. NFPA-25-2002 12.4.2.1 Valves shall be inspected internally every 5 years to verify that all components operate properly, move freely, and are in good condition.
