This letter is concerning the 16' front entry garage door header for plan #3036,ElSvation -B" In the
Copper Ridge subdivision. The base plan specified a 2-p1y 9'%. LVL for the gara~door header. wlth the
assumption that the garage trusses were spanning. side to side and did not bear on the front waD. For
Elevation dB", the trusses span front to back and bear on the 16' gatage door header, but no header size
is specified. Based on the 2CQ6 IRe required gravltyloading, the garage door header should be a
2 - f% x 14"lVL (1.8E) and should be supported. on 2-2x4'5 at ea<lh end.
