Copper Ridge subdivision. The base plan specified a 2-ply 9%" LVL for the garage door header. wUh tt1e
assumption that the garage trusses were spanning. side to side and did not bear 00 the front wall. For
Elevation lOB", the trusses span front 'to back. and bear on the 16' garage door header, but no header size
is specified. Based on the 2006 IRe required gravllyloacling, the garage door header should be a
2 - 1% x 14"lVl (1.8E) and should be supported,on 2-2x4's at e8<lh end.
