ORDERING 2001 IMPROVEMENTS FOR EVANSTON AVENUE,
ST. PAUL AVENUE, JORDAN AVENUE, MINNESOTA STREET,
DAKOTA STREET, OAK STREET, AND MEMORIAL TRAIL

WHEREAS, on December 18, 2000, the City Council adopted Resolution 00-129 accepting the
Feasibility Report and calling for a Public Hearing to be held on the 2001 Improvement
Project which includes the reconstruction of Evanston Avenue, St. Paul Avenue,
Jordan Avenue, Minnesota Street, Dakota Street, Oak Street, and Memorial Trail
including sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, aggregate base, concrete curb and
gutter, bituminous surfacing, sidewalk and appurtenant work; and
WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing was given, and
the hearing was held on the 22nd day of January, 2001, at which time all persons
desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvement is necessary, cost-effective and feasible as detailed in the feasibility report.
2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council Resolution 00-129 adopted
December 18, 2000.
3. The City Council declares its official intent to reimburse itself for the costs of the improvement
from the proceeds of the tax exempt bond.
Passed and adopted this 19th day of March, 2001.
