Memorandum DATE: March 25, 2003 TO: Craig Eldred FROM: Robert D. Hutchins RE: Wellhouse #3 Cl2 conversion Following are the results of the plan review for the Wellhouse #3 Cl2 conversion. Our review was based on the Minnesota State Building Code (MSBC) which adopted with amendments the 2000 International Building Code (IBC). Also requirements of the 1998 Minnesota State Fire Code (MSFC) which adopted with amendments the 1997 Uniform Fire Code (UFC). A walk-thru inspection was performed on March 24, 2003, to assess the conversion. 1. Submit a Ventilation plan signed by a Mechanical Engineer Registered in the State of Minnesota. May be submitted at a later date. Provide one cubic foot per minute per square foot of floor area in the two new control rooms and the main mixing room. MSFC 8003.1.4.2 #5 2. A sprinkler and mechanical permit is required. Also an Electrical permit is required from the Minnesota State Board of Electricity. May be submitted at a later date.
