The purpose of my eXamination was to collect1information required to develop an opinion regarding the structural integrity of the wood floor joists after the recent fire damage. At the time of my examination, the North portion of tile floor framing had been removed and was being replaced with new floor trusses. There were six original floor trusses remaining at the South end of the structure. I examined theSe trusses and their metal plates for dimensional integrity and structural condition. Based on my re"iew. it is my opinion that the six original floor trusses have not been structurally compromised by the fire. and can be used in their URmodified condition in compliance with applicable codes and standards. Work Scope for Carter Narveson 3845 Green Heights Trail SW Dear Building Inspector, Based on examination of Principal Engineering we will replace floor and floor trusses that have been structurally unsafe to utilize safely to restore back to original condition, will replace all windows and doors on both floors to original condition and up to code. Interior walls that were damaged will be replaced, framing inspection by City of Prior Lake, Plumbing and Electrical rough-in can start after their done and passed inspections insulating may start. Only the upstairs is being finished now to save cost, however the basement will.get insulated and ftre- polyed in compliance with code. Will continue repair work outside, on the deck to replace the front part that was destroyed, to bring it back to its original condition, once Plumbing and Electrical rough-ins are signed off on inspection. Then will insulate and poly before sheet-rock / tape / spray. Painting of walls, Trimming, Tile, Wood Floors will all get started along with cabinets and counter tops, Plumbing Electrical and Interior finals can all be done so Certiftcate of Occupancy can be granted. I have included a material list on another page for you.
