RESOLUTION 10-002
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF SQUAD CARS
MOTION BY:

WHEREAS, the police budget for 2010 provides for the acquisition of three replacement
police squads; and
WHEREAS, bids have been solicited and received by the State of Minnesota Cooperative
Purchasing Program for full-sized 2010 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor
and Dodge Charger squad cars.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR
LAKE, MINNESOTA that:
1) The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein.
2) The Police Department is authorized to purchase three squad cars using the State of
Minnesota Cooperative Purchasing Contract.
3) Staff is directed to place an order for the purchase of two Crown Victoria and one
Charger vehicles in an amount not to exceed $66,461.49.
4) Funding is approved contingent upon the passage of the 2010 budget and funds will
come from the 2010 General Fund.
Adopted this 4th day of January 2010.
