HomeMy WebLinkAbout01-94 RESOLUTION 01-94 RESOLUTION APPROVING A MINOR AMENDMENT TO THE CREEKSlDE ESTATES PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT TO ALLOWA 10' BY 25' DECK ON THE BACK OF THE 24-UNIT BUILDINGS AND TO ALLOW THE ADDITION OF WINDOWS TO THE 3"° STORY OF THE BUILDING MOTION BY: ERICSON SECOND BY: GUNDLACH WHEREAS: the Prior Lake City Council considered the proposed minor amendment to the approved development plan for the Creekside Estates on August 6, 2001; and WHEREAS: owners of property within the Creekside Estates PUD have been notified of the proposed minor amendment in accordance with Section 1106.607 (2) b of the Zoning Ordinance; and WHEREAS: the City Council finds the minor amendment to the Creekside Estates PUD consistent with certain elements of the Comprehensive Plan and the Zoning Ordinance; and WHEREAS: the City Council finds the minor amendment is in harmony with both existing and proposed development in the area; and WHEREAS: the City Council finds the amendment would result in an opportunity to address the full range of the marketplace; and WHEREAS: the City Council finds the minor amendment is compatible with the stated purposes and intent of the Section 1106 Planned Unit Developments of the Zoning Ordinance; and WHEREAS: the City Council finds the proposed minor amendment adequately provides for internal organization, uses, circulation, public facilities, recreation areas and open space. The Creekside Estates PUD Final Plan is amended to allow 10' by 25' decks off of the common library room in the back of the 24-unit buildings and to allow the addition of 4 windows to the 3r~ story of the building, above the entry.
