iLUTION REQUESTING COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT PROJECT
WITH THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
FOR INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS ON STATE TRUNK HIGHWAY 13
AT CSAH 23 & FIVE HAWKS

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Prior Lake has determined that the area on State Trunk
Highway 13 at the intersections of CSAH 23 (Panama Avenue) and Five Hawks Avenue
requires safety improvements; and
WHEREAS, the City is willing to be the lead agency to improve Trunk Highway 13 in this area with
construction including widening, channelization, connecting street construction,
signalization, and other appurtenant work; and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation is aware of the needs and benefits of these
proposed improvements.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA
that:
1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein.
2. The City of Prior Lake requests the Minnesota Department of Transportation to participate in the
proposed improvements on State Trunk Highway 13.
3. The City of Prior Lake is willing to participate in a Cooperative Agreement project with the
Minnesota Department of Transportation and share the cost of the needed improvements.
