HomeMy WebLinkAbout96-48 RESOLUTION 96-48 RESOLUTION CONDUCTING A PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT OF 1996 PROJECTS MOTION BY: Kedrowski SECONDED BY: Schenck WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 95-119 of the City Council, adopted on December 4, 1995, a report prepared by the City's Engineering Department and the City's Engineering Consultant (MSA Consulting Engineers, Inc.) with reference to the following improvements and the generally described project areas: 1. Northwood Road from CSAH 12 to Island View Road by the construction of grading, storm sewer, aggregate base, concrete curb and gutter, bituminous surfacing, walk and appurtenant work; and 2. CSAH 21 from CSAH 82 to CSAH 42 by the construction of storm sewer, utility crossings, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, bituminous surfacing, and appurtenant work; and 3. Paving of Lakefront Park roads, trails and parking lots by the construction of grading, storm sewer, aggregate base, concrete curb and gutter, bituminous surfacing, and appurtenant work; and 4. The bituminous sealcoating of bituminous paved streets throughout the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA, that 1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council Resolution 95-119 adopted December 4, 1995 for such streets and areas in accordance with the report and the assessment of property as described in the report for all or a portion of the cost of the improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvements of $1,834,000.00. 2. A Public Hearing shall be held on the following such proposed improvements on the following date at the Fire Station No.1, with the address of 16776 Fish Point Road, City of Prior Lake, Minnesota at the following time: May 6, 1996 at 8:30 P.M. 162~~ Creek Ave. S.E., Prior Lake, Minnesota 55372-1714 / Ph.
