HomeMy WebLinkAbout98-15 RESOLUTION 98-15 RESOLUTION OF THE PRIOR LAKE CITY COUNCIL TO AMEND THE LAND USE MAP OF THE 2010 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN MOTION BY: Kedrowski SECOND BY: Petersen WHEREAS, The Planning Commission held a public hearing on January 12, 1998, to consider an amendment to the land use map of the 2010 Comprehensive Plan to designate the property legally described as the South .241.7 feet of the East 200 feet of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 36, Township 115, Range 22, Scott County, Minnesota, as R-HD (High Density Residential); and WHEREAS, notice of the public hearing before the Planning Commission was duly published and posted in accordance with the applicable Minnesota statutes; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found this amendment to be consistent with the Suitable Housing and Environment goals and objectives of the Comprehensive Plan in that it offers a variety of housing, and it is consistent with the City's Livable Community Goal to provide affordable and life-cycle housing; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the amendment to the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map, and WHEREAS, the City Council has duly considered the staff reports, meeting minutes and Planning Commission recommendation which constitute the record of decision of this matter.
