HomeMy WebLinkAbout00-86 RESOLUTION 00-86 RESOLUTON ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR BOUDIN'S MANOR DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT (CITY PROJECT #111-00) Motion By: GUNDLACH Second By: PETERSEN WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Boudin's Manor Drainage improvement (City Project 11-00) which includes ditch grading, pond excavation and appurtenant work; and WHEREAS, the following bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and complied with the advertisement; and VENDOR BID Sunram Construction, Inc. $37,114.00 i F.F. J WHEREAS, it appears that Sunram Construction, Inc. of Corcoran, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder Now THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Prior Lake that the following are hereby adopted: 1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Sunram Construction, Inc. of Corcoran, Minnesota on behalf of the City of Prior Lake for the Boudin's Manor Drainage Improvements (City Project #11-00) in the amount of $37,114.00 with funds to be drawn from the Storm Water Utility Budget. 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return to all bidders the deposits made with their bids once a contract has been signed. PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 18TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 2000. (612) 447-4230 / Fax (612) 447-4245 AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER RESOLUTION 00-87 ITION OF THE PRIOR LAKE CITY COUNCIL APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT OF "THE WILDS 5TH ADDITION" AND DEVELOPMENT CONTRACT AND SETTING FORTH CONDITIONS TO BE MET PRIOR TO RELEASE OF THE FINAL PLAT. MOTION BY: PETERSEN SECOND BY: GUNDLACH WHEREAS: on August 7, 2000, the City Council approved the preliminary plat known as The Wilds 5th Addition, subject to conditions identified by Resolution 00-68; and WHEREAS: the City Council has found that the final plat of "The Wilds 5th Addition" is in substantial compliance with the approved preliminary plat; and WHEREAS: The City Council has approved the final plat of "The Wilds 5th Addition". NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does require the following conditions to be met, prior to release of, and recording of said plat: 1. A current title opinion or commitment of title insurance be submitted acceptable to the City Attorney. 2. Payment of all fees prior to release of the final plat mylars. 3. Reductions of the entire final plat be submitted, to the following scales: 1" = 800'; 1" = 200'; and one reduction at no scale which fits onto an 81/2" x 11" sheet of paper. 4. Four mylar sets of the final plat with all required signatures be submitted. 5. The developer provide financial security, acceptable to the City Engineer prior to release of the final plat mylars. 6. The final plat and all pertinent documents must be filed with Scott County within 60 days from the date of final plat approval. Failure to record the documents by November 18, 2000, will render the final plat null and void. 7. Copies of the MPCA permit for sanitary sewer construction and Department of Health approval for watermain extension prior to construction. Passed and adopted this 18th day of September, 2000.
