ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
BROOKSVILLE HILLS 6TH ADDITION DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT
CITY PROJECT #99-15

WHEREAS,
pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Brooksville Hills 6th Addition Drainage
Improvement (99-15) which includes ditch grading and appurtenant work; and
WHEREAS,
the following bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to law and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS,
it appears that F.F. Jedlicki, Inc. of Eden Prairie, Minnesota is the lowest responsible
bidder; and
Now THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Prior Lake as follows:
(1) The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with F.F. Jedlicki,
Inc. of Eden Prairie, Minnesota in the name of the City of Prior Lake for the Brooksville Hills 6th
Addition Drainage Improvement (Project 99-15) in the amount of $38,139.50 with funds to be
drawn from the Storm Water Utility Budget.
(2) The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return to all bidders the deposits made
with their bids once a contract has been signed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 4TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1999.

RESOLUTION 99-107
RESOLUTION OF THE PRIOR LAKE CITY COUNCIL APPROVING
THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF "FARRELL'S 1ST ADDITION"
MOTION BY: Kedrowski
SECOND BY: Petersen
WHEREAS: the Prior Lake Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on September 13,
1999, to consider an application from Douglas Farrell for the preliminary plat of
Farrell's 1 st Addition; and
WHEREAS: notice of the public hearing on said preliminary plat has been duly published and
posted in accordance with the applicable Minnesota Statutes and Prior Lake
Ordinances; and
WHEREAS: all persons interested in this issue were afforded the opportunity to present their
views and objections related to the preliminary plat of Farrell's 1 st Addition for the
record at the Planning Commission hearing; and
WHEREAS: the Planning Commission and City Council have reviewed the preliminary plat
according to the applicable provisions of the Prior Lake Zoning and Subdivision
Ordinances and found said preliminary plat to be consistent with the provisions of
said ordinances; and
WHEREAS the Prior Lake City Council considered an application for preliminary plat approval of
Farrell's 1 st Addition on October 4, 1999; and
WHEREAS: the City Council finds the preliminary plat of Farrell's 1 st Addition to be consistent
with the 2010 Comprehensive Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA, that it hereby approves the preliminary plat of Farrell's 1st Addition
subject to the following conditions:
1. Prior to final plat approval, the developer must submit a landscaping plan as required by Section
1007.100 of the Subdivision Ordinance.
Passed and adopted this 4th day of October, 1999.
