Making good on a promise
The Prior Lake Lions Club made good on its $30,000 promise to the city for the addition of a band
shelter for the Lakefront Park amphitheater last week with the delivery of its third and final check for
$10,000 to the city. On hand to make it official Nov.1S were Prior Lake Mayor Wes Mader (left) and Bob
Underferth, past president and current Lions Club member. The Lions initially indicated they would
pay it off over a five-year period but got it done in less than two years. The money was generated
through the Lion's charitable gaming program. (Photo by Nathan Oster)
