AGENDA ITEM: PRESENTATION RECOGNIZING THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF GENE WHITE AS
COUNCILMEMBER AND SCOTT COUNTY HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT
AUTHORITY (HRA) COMMISSIONER.
PRESENTATION: Gene White is retiring from the Scott County HRA. Prior to becoming an HRA
Commissioner, Gene was a Councilmember for the City of Prior Lake from
January 1986 to December 1993. Gene has distinguished himself over his public
service career as being the type of individual who makes Prior Lake a wonderful
place to call home. Gene has worked hard as a timeless advocate for Prior Lake.
Because of his efforts, Scott County can boast numerous successes in senior
housing.
As our 2020 Vision states: "Volunteerism, civic duty and community pride
continue to enrich the City and its residents." Gene White epitomizes these
characteristics and we are grateful for his many efforts on our behalf.
The Mayor will present Gene with a plaque.
