PRESENTATION: Joe Wiita has accepted a position with Scott County as Highway Operations Man-
ager.
Joe began employment with the City on August 26, 1996 as a maintenance work-
er. He served the City through several assignments with the public works de-
partment including streets and sewer before being named a Public Works Techni-
cian in 2007 and promoted to the Streets /Utilities Maintenance Foreman in 2008.
May 2010 found Joe transitioning smoothly to the Streets /Utilities Supervisor posi-
tion and in July 2011 he was named Maintenance Superintendent.
Our best wishes accompany Joe as he moves forward in his career path. His last
day with the City is January 27.
