PRESENTATION: PLAY is also affected by the rapid development of our ~orrlrnan1fy~h'eirbaseball
league for 13-year-olds is growing dramatically. To provide field capacity for
games, the City and PLAY have entered into a partnership. Under that
partnership, PLAY agreed to provide the City with $75,000 which is about half the
cost of lighting the baseball field in the Ponds park. As the Council is aware, this
project has been completed and the lights are in use. Mark Schroeder will
address the Council about PLAY, its history, participants and projections for future
growth and needs. Mark will also submit a donation to the Mayor to support the
field lighting project.
