Present were Ommdssioners Loftus, Larson, Roseth and Citiy Planner Grauer. Absent was Commissioner Arnold. lotion by Larson to approve the minutes as presented, seconded by Loftus. City Planner Grauer ccmmmnted that the applicant requested a continuation for 2 wean. Item II, Greg Schweich request for variance ertansion for Iota 3 and 4 Breezy Point. Disougsion followed regarding the request and variance verbag: and area notification. no action was taken, Pinner Grauer will handle the situation administratively. At this tine Mayor Johns casplims the Commissioners on recognizing a problem and trying to come up with a solution and a decision for the applicant. Be also requested that the Commissioners notify Staff and the Council as soon as posaihle cE any verbage discrepancies which may came up in the future. Also it was requested the Ethics be adopted at the neat Planning Commission meeting. 85 - 04 CITY OF PRIOR LAKE PLANK= ODIVUSSION MENUTES AUGUST 15, 1985 The August 15, 1985 Prior lake Planning Commission meeting was called to order by Chairmen Pelis at 7:38 P.M. Present were Commissioners Loftus, Larson and City Planner Graser. Absent was C®issioner roseth. The minutes of the August 1, 1985 meeting were ameodea as follows, Paragraph 1, line 3, change 'Citiy to 'City. Notion by Arnold to approve the minutes as amended, seconded by Loftus. Upon a vote taken, the motion was duly Passed- it= I, Len Gtaeeini request for Conditional Use Permit for 14277 Shady Beach Trail. to one was present to represent the applicant. City Planner Graser oceseented that the Conditional Use Permit request be declared null and void. Motion by Loftus to declare the Conditional Use Permit request by Lon Grassini for 14277 Shady Basch Trail null and void since no presentation from applicant and notices were sent out to area residents, seamded by Larson. Upon a vote taken the motion was duly passed. Item II, U.S. ibbartainoent Corp request for Conditional Use Permit for Directional Sign located at intersection of County road 23 and Highway 13. Pam pabr legal assistant for Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club was present to answer qusations. Pam Fehr presented pictures of the Directional Sign and commented that the requirements for the sign have all been met. Permission from McDOnalds to locate the sign on their property is currently being sought. City Planner Graser coemented per memo dated August 13, 1985. Notion by Larson to grant approval of Conditional Use Permit for Directional Sign located at intersection of County road23 and rHHcjeal3 for the ti that Horse and Hunt Club contingent upon City McDonalds grants permission for the signage site, seconded by Arnold.
