The applicant Pat McGinnis is currently operating 1Lnstic Road Mursery School
located at 5725 lenstic Road in Prior lake via a Conditional Use Permit issued in
1978. She plans to move the school to the church and continue to operate in the
same fashion as the Rustic Road site. The Minnesota Valley C®s:ity Church was
recently constructed at the end of Timber Trail a single family residential
area. There are 15 single family lots platted with access to Timber Trail half
of which are developed.
The school will operate Monday - Thursday for 2 hours from 9:00 A.M. to 11:15
A.M. and 2 hours in the afternoon on Tuesday and Thursday from 12:30 P.M. to
2:45 P.M. Enrollment will total 20 children ages 2 through 5 years. According
2 0 appl cant many of the Mothers car pool reducing the traffic to less than
trips per session. The church site has current parking facilities
ouch in excess of this use.
The church site is at the end of a cul—C sac significantly reducing the
contact the school will have with the residential neighborhood. The outside
play area for the children will be on the north side of the church totally
eliminating daily visual contact and possible noise for the homes to the south
of the church.
Approve the request since it will not be detrimental to the neighborhood and
general health and welfare of the co®nnity.
