History The resignation of Economic Development Authority Commissioner Bob Jader I and the passing of Commissioner Dick Underferth, leaves two vacancies on the EDA. .' Current Circumstances Notices have been placed in the newspaper on numerous occasions regarding the EDA vacancies. Six applicants have expressed an interest in the Economic Development Authority. (i) <V The applicants include Larry Anderson, Bill Criego (who is also a Planning Commissioner), Tom F~er, Joan J~hnsen, Bill pchmokel and Christine Walsh. Applications are i cluded for eafh. The Mayor has interviewed '~ac of the candidates. 1. r(i) /?l ~ ~ ' b' Conclusion The Mayor will have recommendations for City Council endorsement at the March 6th meeting. (1) Motion and second to confirm the Mayor's recommended appointments to the Economic Development Authority. (2) Take no action and provide specific direction to the staff.
