Home My WebLink About12-100 2012 2013 Liquor License Renewal Resolution for Basement Bar and Grill 4646 Dakota Street SE Prior Lake, MN 55372 RESOLUTION 1 2 - 100 A RESOLUTION TO CONSIDER APPROVAL OF A LIQUOR LICENSE RENEWAL FOR 201 2 – 201 3 FOR BASEMENT BAR & GRILL Motion By: Soukup Second By: Hedberg WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes Chapter 340A authorizes the City to issue on and off sale liquor and 3.2 malt liquor license, Sunday licenses, and club licenses, and WHEREAS, Prior Lake Ci ty Code sets forth the application process for such licenses, and WHEREAS, Applicant s ha ve submitted liquor license applications as set forth in Exhibit A, and WHEREAS, Pursuant to the Prior Lake City Code section 301.600, “no license shall be granted for operation on any premises on which taxes, assessments or other financial claims of the City are delinquent or unpaid.” NOW THEREFORE , BE IT HEREBY RESOLVE D BY THE CITY COUNCI L OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated he rein, 2. Exhibit A referenced above is incorporated herein if fully set fort h, 3. The liquor licenses for the premises set forth in Exhibit A are hereby approved for the period July 1, 201 2 to June 30, 201 3 and, 4. All premises shall comply with Prior Lake City Code 301.600 no later than June 30, 201 2 to be eligible for licensure. 5. The l icense shall be conditional upon the following: (a). The license holder pay all outstanding fines no later than June, 30, 2012 (b). That if it is found, as a result of the pending Police Department investigation, that the license holder s ubmitted fa lse and misleading information with its application, the license would be immediately revoked in accordance with City Code Section 301.1003(1), providing for revocation of a license that was mistakenly granted.
