sealer pockets, �tc. Thi� inforrn�tion i� rEquired in order t� protect both GenFlex Roofing Systems �nd
the in�talling contr�ctor from �dditiona! liabitity tor �It�rations perfonned to the roof sy�tem without
GenFlex's knowl�dge or i�volvem�nt. The Technic�l Department requests � aep�r�te roof dr�wing far
eact� roof �ssembly rype inst�lled on � project. For �x�mple, � project consistin9 of an adhered and a
ballasted system would require two sep�r�te roof pl�n�. If the two di�erent �ssemblie� are on the s�me
building, please indicate their proximity to one another on the roof plans for r�f�rcnc� purpos�s.
B. When rn�t�ria�l 8� wor{cmanship or Full aystem� w�rr�nties �re desired, CenFlex Roofing Systems MU�T
r�c,eive the Pre-Job Survey or be cont�cted PRIOR to projec# bid and inst�llation. Addition�l inform�tion
may be required for th� wind design of th� �y�tem.
C. Upon completion o# the projeet, the roofing contr�ctor �h�ll notify Ge�Flex Roofng Sy�tems of the d�te of
comp�etion, �nd reque3t � fin�! inapection.
D. Upon completion of the roof insp�ction by GenFlex Technical Services Department, s�tisfactory compl�tion
of any punch ligt items, �nd receipt of applicable w�rranty f�es, the w�rr�nty may be is�ued to the installing
contractor.
1.04 PRODUCT DELNERY, STORAGE AND HANDLING
A. D�liver m�teri�ls in original, ur�o�ened con�iners.
B. Conta�iner� ahall b� I�beled with manuf�cturer's product n�me �nd gen�r�l informaition.
C. All m�terials, excluding the memb�ne, ahould be stored b�tween 60 °F (16 °C) and 80 °F (27 °C). If
m�terials are �xposed to lower terr�perature�, restore m�t�rial to 60 °F (16 °C) minimum temper�ture befare
wsi�g.
D. Store �II m�terials, mcludin9 rriembrane, In � dry, protect�d �r��. Damaged m�terials must not b� us�d.

boards per bundle, only tho�e bo�rds �h�t M�v� b�en wet must be r�placed. F�ilure to r�place in�ulation
bo�rds that have be�n expo�ed to moisture �n result in bowing or curlinq of the insulation bec�use the
m�t�rial m�y dry wnevenly while in the roofi syst�m. Thi� may �dv�rsely �ff�sct the dimensional st�bility of
the in�ulation materiai. In �ither cas�, the �emoval and replacement o� the �ffected insul�tion ah�ll be the
resPonsibility of the inst�lling confir�ctor �s � punch li�t item or under their two-ye�r obligation if discovered
��ter the initi�l inspection but within twenty-four (24) month� of �pproved final in�pection by GenFlex.
H. Keep in�ulation tarp�d �nd protECted �rom rr�oi�ture unfiil re�dy for instaliation. DO NOT INSTALL AAORE

mechanical�y �nchored to Ce�nFlex apecification for �dh�red �nd mechanic�lly �ttached syatems, the
maximum �liowed board �ize i� 4' x 4' (1.22 m x 1.22 m).
3. When using in�ul�tion �dh�sive, verify th�t the approved substr�t� has not been �Iter�d by coatings,
sealant�, or additives. NOTE: Unles►� the Gen�lex T�chnical Dep�rtment provides written �pprov�l of
sp�cific product� and / or �pplication� prior to fhe s#art of � roofing project, �Iteration of the bonding
sub�trate (e.g. �pplication of primers �r�d / or se�l�nts, etc.) voids w�rranty cov�rage for th� in�ulation

joints and ofiher �r�as wher� the membrane must be anchor�d to prever�t movement, str�ss or dama�ge to
