A recent inspection at 16020 Eagle Creek Avenue has revealed an Erosion Control
deficiency on your building site which needs to be corrected immediately. This is a
violation of Prior Lake City Code Section 4-1-4. With this lot located so close to the
lake, the City and the DNR will be monitoring the site closely. The City must be notified
immediately once the situation is corrected. This is your second notice and failure to
comply with this letter will result in forfeiture of your building deposit, a bill for the work
performed by a contractor hired by the City, and resubmission of a new deposit in order
to resume a schedule of building inspections. The following item needs to be corrected or
installed within 24 hours of this notice.
* Silt fence needs to be added along the lake in the back and along the side lot lines
to prevent sand/sediment from eroding into the lake and neighboring lots.

The July 7, 1994, Planning Comrnission Meeting was called to order by Chaiiman Amold at 7:00 P.M.
Those present were Comrrrissioners Roseth, Amold, Loftus, Vonhof, Assistant City Planner Deb Ga�ross,
Associate Planner Gina Mitchell, and Sec�eta�y Rita Schewe.
REVIEW MIl�S OF PREVIOUS MEETING
Commissioner Loftus stated a co�rection to paragraph four, line two, to read as follows; "Commissioner
Lofn�s stated that pr•ecedent hns been set".

A recess was called at 7:05 P.M. to await the atzival of City Manager Frank Boyles. The meeting was
reconvened at 7:30 P.M. As the City Manager Boyles was not present, Item I was placed at the end of the
agenda. At this time Item II was brought before the Commissioners.
ITFM II - �HRLS ANDERSON - V�RIANCE
C�uis Ar�clerson, 16020 Eagle Creek Avenue, stated he is requesting a variance in oizier to add a dining
room addidon to his residence. The home is very small and the fam�ly is growing, ss� therefore more room
is needed. ML Anderson said at the same time he will be raising the house and putting in a full basement
wluch will biing the snlicnu� into compliance with the Flood Plain Oirlinance.
Gina Mitchell, Associate Plannea, presented die infoima�ion as per planning i�eport of July 7, 1994. The
vaz requested is a 6 foot east front ya�d va�iance fiom the 25 foot fiont ya.i�l setback requirement The
subject site is a small, substandard lot of recoi�i that has no legal building envelope if all the setbacks were
applied. The ha�dslup was created by the platting process of a previous goveming body.
Comrrients fiom the Commissioners were in support of the variance.
