SOX 30 PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA 511272 i ' • PLANHING COMMISSION MINUTES AUGUST 6, 1987 The August 6, 1987 Prior lake Planning Commission meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Chairman Loftus. Present were Camnissioners Arnold, Kedrowski, Roseth, Wells, City Planner Graser, Assistant City Planner Garross, and Consulting Planner Charles Tooker. ITEM I - REVIEW OF MDMW Q DA E= MAFTiTT° POTION BY WELLS, SECOND BY ARNLI.D TO APPROVE THE JULY 16, 1987 PLANNING ODMUSSION MINUTES AS PRESENTED. Upon a vote taken, ayes by Arnold, Kedrowski, Loftus, RDSeth, Wells; the motion passed unanimously. At this time City Manager, Dave @®acht introduced the new Assistant City Manager, Kay Sommudlach and Consulting Planner, Charles Tooker. Mr. Tooker will be doing the Presentation of the Highway 13 Development Area. Consulting Planner looker discussed the following maps$ - Schematic Land Use Circulation Plan Map - Existing Land Use - Existing Zoning Map - Existing Building Conditions - Existing Property Values - Summary of Findings - Proposed Lard Use Circulation Plan - Proposed Land Use/Hiking Biking Plan - Circulation Development Priority /Acquisition Plan - Town Center - Streetscape He indicated that one additional drawing will be prepared which shoos potential architectural character of the Town Center. BOX 359 PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA 65372 ITEM III - PUBLIC HEARING OF RASPBERRY RIDGE REZONING WAS CALLED TO OMER Bob Walsh, developer, was present to answer questions and concerns. City Planner Graser commented per memo dated August 3, 1987. At this time audience input was called for. Area residents had concerns over parks, home sizes and developer objectives. MOTION BY ARNOLD TO APPROVE THE APPLICATION FOR REZONING RASPBERRY RIDGE AS SUBEIITPED SINCE IT IS CONSISTENT WITH THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND RASPBERRY RIDGE DEVELOPER'S PLANS, SBOCNDED BY EEDROWSKI. Upon a vote taken, ayes by Arnold, Zedrowski, Loftus, Roseth, Wells; the motion passed unanimously. MOTION BY ARMED, SECOND BY EEDROWMI TO CLOSE THE PUBLIC HEARING FOR REZONING OF RASPBERRY RIDGE. Upon a vote taken, ayes by Arnold, Zedrwski, Loftus, Roseth, Wells; the motion passed unanimousl - "The tape of this public hearing will be kept on file in the office of the City Planner as official record. At this time a 5 minute recess was called. The meeting resumed at 9:00 P.M. ITSK IV - FINAL PLAT APPROVAL OF RASPBERRY RIM Bob Walsh, developer, cow on the plat with regard to park land not disturbed, price range of homes ($120 -200 thousand) and lots ($25 -60 thousand), erosion control, grading and compacting, sewer and water, storm sewer, utilities and time table of 5 years with work beginning this Fall. City Planner Graser commented per memo dated August 3, 1987. MOTION BY R16EB3, SECOND BY ARMW TO EHaM= FINN. PINT APPROVN, FOR RASPBERRY RIDGE BUBB= TO: 1. MR. Upon a vote taken, ayes by Arnold, Zedrowski, Loftua lioseth, Walla; the motion passed unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 9:20 P.M.
