PRIOR 14KE PLANNING COMMISSION - MINUTES - January 21, 1982 The January 21, 1982 meeting of the Prior Lake Planning Commission was called to order at 7:39 P.M. by Vice Chairman Roseth. Present at the meeting were Commissioner's Arnold, Foster, Fitzgerald, City Planner Graser and City Consulting Planner Tooker. The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed. Motion was made by Commissioner Foster to approve the minutes as written, seconded by Commissioner Fitzgerald. Upon a vote taken, the motion was duly passed. The one item on the agenda for Staff to review the Zoning Ordinance was called to order. After discussion and input Staff stated there will be an updated draft in three weeks. A continuation was set for that time. Motion was made by Commissioner Fitzgerald to adjourn the Planning Commission meeting, seconded by Arnold. BOX 369 PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA 55372 CITY OF PRIOR LAKE AGENDA REPORT January 7, 1982 7:35 PM GARY HANSON - REZONING APPLICATION Attached please find a petition and location map requesting a zoning change from R -3 multiple residen- tial to B -3 business. Staff recommends scheduling a hearing February 4th, 1982 at 7:35 PM. 7:45 PM STAFF DISCUSSION ON KEVIN TURNER'S PROPOSED REPLAT Kevin Turner has purchased Lots 6 -22 Conroy's Bay and proposing a redivision. A question has arisen whether this proposal requires a full replat. Staff will have imput on this matter. 8:15 PM ZONING ORDINANCE Review of Zoning Ordinance. Please bring latest copy. PLANNING COMMISSION - MINUTES - ,January 7, 1982 The January 7, 1982 meeting of the Prior Lake Planning Commission was called to order at 7:30 PM by Chairman Wilker. Present at the meeting were Commissioner's Arnold, Foster, Fitzgerald, Roseth and City Planner Graser. The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed. The following correction was made to page 2, paragraph 4, lire 4 change the entire line to read "Also the developer be cautioned in the manner of the public road at hks own risk if they proceed." Motion was made by Fitzgerald to add the correct- ion, seconded by Foster. Upon a vote taken the motion was duly passed. Motion was made by Foster to approve the minutes as amended, seconded by Roseth. Upon a vote taken, the motion was duly passed. Item I, Rezoning Application for Gary Hanson was called to order. Mr. Hanson was not present to answer questions. City Planner Graser stated that Mr. Hanson is requesting rezoning from R -3 to B -3 for business purposes. Recommendation to schedule a Public Hearing for 7:35 P.M. on February 4, 1982 was made. Motion was made by Commissioner Roseth to schedule a Public Hearing for 7:35 P.M. on February 4, 1982, seconded by Fitzgerald. Upon a vote taken, the motion was duly passed. item II, Staff Discussion on Kevin Turner's Proposed Replat was called to order. John Turner and Kevin Turner were present to answer questions. City Planner Graser stated that the applicants were replatting Lots 6 -22 Conroy's Bay from 17 Lots to 9 Lots. It was noted that Lot 13 is owned by the City of Prior Lake for a possible future road. The Planning Commissioner's discussed this item and they were in agreement of a meets and bounds redevision. The applicant must sub -..it to Staff a certified survey outlining the new property descriptions. Covenants must be submitted for the plat eliminating the potential fc. more than one build- ing permit for a principle use per lot. Item III, Zoning Ordinance discussion by the Staff and Commissioners. All agreed to wait until the next Planning Commission meeting whereas City Planner Graser will have the changes and corrections written up in form. (612) 447.4230 4629 DAKOTA STREET S.E. P.O. BOX 359 PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA 55372 At this time Chairman Allen Wilker told the Planning Commission he was resigning and this would be his last meeting. He will be moving to Vermont February 1, 1982. The Commissioners wished him the best. Motion was made by Roseth to adjourn the Prior Lake Planning Commission meeting, seconded by Arnold. Upon a vote taken, the motion was duly passed. The meeting adjourned at 8:25 P.M.
