Mr. Romy Kopp and Mr. James Dodson came before the Planning Commission requesting
a conditional use permit to open a mobile home sales lot across from the Deep Rock
Station on State Highway 13. Mr. Dodson explained the mobile homes would be pulled
in, blocked and steps installed to the mobile homes. A sign and gravel parking lot
would be placed on the premises with a trailer office made to look permanent. Discussion
centered on access and egress to the highway, since the Minnesota State Highway
Department plans to renovate Highway 13 into a controlled access highway through sections
of Prior Lake. A recommendation was made to Mr. Kopp and Mr. Dodson to contact the
State Highway Department and find out whether they will be allowed access and egress to
Highway 13.
