The meeting of the Prior Lake Planning Commission was called to order at 7 ,:40 P.M. by
Acting Chairman Jobst. Members present were Jobst, Houts, Walker and Bissonett. Also
present were Mayor Stock, Administrator McGuire and Administrative Assistant Sullivan.
Members absent were Stack, Tercero, Miller and Councilman Watkins.
Motion was made by Walker to approve the minutes of previous meeting, seconded by Houts
and upon a vote taken, it was duly passed.
First item on the agenda was Mr. Brooks Hauser reviewing his preliminary plat, Sunset
Hills Addition, with the Planning Commission. A few comments from Tooker's memorandum
were brought up concerning thoroughfare, etc. One recommendation was made to Mr. Hauser
by the Planning Commission, that lot 4 or 5 be made an outlot. A meeting has been set
for July 18, 1974 with the Spring Lake Town Board to discuss orderly annexation of this
area. A motion was made by Houts to approve the concept and design of this prelimina-yr
plat, Sunset Hills, seconded by Walker and upon a vote taken, it was duly passed.
Mr. Robert Kramarcguk came before the Planning Commission for a 8 ft. variance on the
Fast side of his house, Lot 10, Block 3, Willows 1st Addition. Motion was made by Houts�$,,,r
to approve the variance, seconded by Walker and upon a vote taken, it was duly passed.
Mr. Gibbish, owner of DuBar Marine, came before the Planning Commission to review the
conditions of his Conditional Use Permit with the Commissioners. Each condition was
reviewed and discussed. The Planning Commission was not totaly satisfied with three
(3) of the conditions; the public sale of gas, number of boats to a slip, and the public
restroom facility. These conditions will be discussed further with the Prior Lake City
Council.
The meeting adjourned @ 9:30 P.M.
The next meeting will be held July 25, 1974 @ 7:30 P.M.
