Personnel Notes: 1) Traffic stops are down a little and can most likely be attributable to the fact that we were short two officers on patrol in March — one due to a work related wrist injury and the second, Officer Todd Deming resigned his position with the department effective March 29 2) We were able to fill the vacancies we had in our police transcriptionist position and our two Community Service Officers. 3) We will be interviewing four candidates for the police officer opening for a second time the week of May 2p The increase in traffic accidents is mainly attributable to the snow events and the number of vehicles that lost control and went off the road.
