CONSIDER APPROVAL OF PRIOR LAKE LIONS PREMISE PERMIT
FEBRUARY 5, 1996
The Prior Lake Lions Club is applying for renewal of their Gambling
Premise Permit in order to conduct lawful at the premises of Green
Heights Lake Club and T.J. Hooligans.
Under State Statute the City has the right to deny lawful gambling permit
requests with respect to pulltabs. The City has received a renewal
request from the Prior Lake Lions for a pulltab premise permit for Green
Heights Lake Club and T.J. Hooligans.
I have received all necessary documents including the Premise Permit
fee, and the Lions appear to be in compliance with City ordinance
requirements.
The City of Prior Lake Licensing Departme!1t has received no
documentation from the State of Minnesota regarding misuse of gambling
permits for the Prior Lake Lions.
Council has the following alternatives:
1. Adopt the proposed premise permits.
2. Remove from the Consent Agenda for further discussion.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the renewal of a premise permit for the Prior Lake Lions Club for
Lawful Gambling at Green Heights Lake Club and T.J. Hooligans.

SECONDED BY:
the State of Minnesota requires that a municipality adopt a resolution in
support of an organization to conduce lawful gambling at a particular
premise, and
the Prior lake Lions Club is requesting renewal of their lawful gambling
permit, and
the Prior lake Lions Club has been conducting lawful gambling at the
premises of Green Heights lake Club and T.J. Hooligan's, and
the Prior lake Lions Club 1995 lawful gambling license will expire on
4/30/96.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA, that the Prior lake lions Club is hereby
approved to conduct lawful gambling at the premise of Green Heights lake
Club and T.J. Hooligans for a period of one year effective upon approval by
the Gambling Control Division of the State of Minnesota.
Passed and adopted this 5th. day of February, 1996.
