HomeMy WebLinkAbout95-69 RESOLUTION 95-69 RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW THE CONSTRUCTION OF A PUBLIC BUILDING, (pRIOR LAKE PUBLIC WORKSIPARKS MAINTENANCE FACILITY), WITHIN THE B-P, BUSINESS PARK DISTRICT ON OUTLOT B, WATERFRONT PASSAGE ADDITION. MOTION BY: GREENFIELD SECOND BY: KEDROWSKI WHEREAS, The City of Prior Lake applied for a Conditional Use Permit, (CUP) under Section 7.5 of Prior Lake Zoning Ordinance 83-6; and WHEREAS, the CUP application is to permit the construction of a public building within the B-P, Zoning District; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a hearing on the CUP application on July 24, 1995; WHEREAS, the Planning Commission proceeded to hear all persons interested in said application and persons interested were afforded the opportunity to present their views and objections to the granting of said CUP; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission adopted Resolution 95-19PC recommending approval of the CUP subject to 5 conditions contained therein; and WHEREAS, the City Council of Prior Lake considered the CUP on August 7, 1995; and WHEREAS, the City Council reaffirms the recommendation of the Planning Commission to approve the CUP application subject to the following conditions: 1. Amendment of the Landscape Plan to incorporate additional trees along the berm located on the north side of the principal building. 2. Successful amendment of the Zoning Ordinance to permit accessory structures within the B-P, Business Park Zone. 3. Approval of the final plat of "Waterfront Passage 2nd Addition." 4. Site plan approval from the City Development Review Committee. 5. Filing of this document with the Office of the Scott County Recorder. (612) 447-4230 / Fax (612) 447-4245 AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, that it hereby approves the CUP for the City of Prior Lake to construct a public building on Outlot B, Waterfront Passage Addition, located within the B-P, Business Park Zoning District. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution will be forwarded to the Office of the County Recorder, Scott County, for filing. Passed and adopted this 7th day of July~ 1995.
