MOTION BY: WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, KEDROWSKI , SECOND BY: SCHENCK the Prior Lake Planning Commission conducted a Public Hearing on the 16th Day of June, and 7th day of July, 1994, to act on a petition submitted by Gold Nugget Development, Inc., to amend the Year 2000 Comprehensive Plan; and notice of the public hearing on said motion has been duly published and posted in accordance with the applicable Minnesota Statutes; and the amendment is reasonable and produces substantial justice and is not contrary to the interests of the City. the amendment would make the Comprehensive Plan consistent with the Zoning Ordinance. it is the recommendation of the Planning Commission that the City City Council approve an amendment to the Land Use Map to change the designation of the following legally described property from Medium Density Residential to Low Density Residential; LEGAL DESCRIPTION: All that part of the South Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 26, Township 115, Range 22, lying westerly of the following described line: Beginning at the northwest corner of Government Lot 3, of said Section; thence northerly and parallel with the west line of the South Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 26, a distance of 800.00 feet; thence northeasterly to a point on the North line of the South Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 26, a distance of 1800.00 feet East of the northwest corner of said South Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 26, and there terminating. All in Scott County, Minnesota. (Containing about 40 acres).
