FRANK BOYLES, CITY MANAGER
CONSIDER APPROVAL OF STATUS REPORT ON FIRST
HALF 1996 CITY COUNCIL DIRECTIVES.
AUGUST 19, 1996
Each year I maintain a list of Directives issued by the City
Council to the staff. The purpose of the list is to assure that
directives are completed by the staff as desired by the City
Council within an appropriate time frame.
On a quarterly basis, I provide the City Council a list of
Directives for the previous period. The purpose of sharing the
list is to afford the Council an opportunity to ask questions
about the current status of objectives and to reprioritize as
appropriate those Directives which remain incomplete.
1. Review and accept the Frst Half 1996 list of Directives.
2. Solicit additional information from the staff with respect to
one or more of the Directives.
Alternative # 1.
A motion and second to accept the First Half 1996 Directives
as submitted.
