AUGUST 19, 1996 Each year I maintain a list of Directives issued by the City Council to the staff. The purpose of the list is to assure that directives are completed by the staff as desired by the City Council within an appropriate time frame. On a quarterly basis, I provide the City Council a list of Directives for the previous period. The purpose of sharing the list is to afford the Council an opportunity to ask questions about the current status of objectives and to reprioritize as appropriate those Directives which remain incomplete. 1.
