The incident case reports listed are just a sampling of the 24 crime index categories included in
the Uniform Crime Report and therefore the totals of the selected categories will not add up to
the total number of incidents shown on the last line above.
There is nothing extraordinary to report regarding the October metrics. The increase in DWI
enforcement is really a function of an overall slower month that allows officers to spend more
time on traffic enforcement, thus the increase in traffic stops and DWI.
Four of the eight disturbance calls were reported at Mystic Lake Casino. A number which is
consistent with the yearly total (28 of the 56 disturbance calls so far in 2013 were from the
Casino). Last year, through October, 19 of the 42 disturbance calls were at Mystic Lake Casino.
Number of disturbance calls to the Casino are up, but yet only on average of one per month —
nothing that raises any concerns with us.
