U January 15, 1968 The Common Council of the Village of Prior Lake met to sneoial session in the office of the Village Clerk Monday evening January 15th, 1968 at 8PM, Mayor Richard Geren >? called the meeting to order -roll call Mayor Geren, Clerk ;. Gerttz and Councilmen XbstkkkzV Stock end Mess, :absent Monnens. Jack Packer made inquiry as to what procedure he must go through to make a structure change,in regards to a' K1XXKfLIMKg1 building he plan`s to, conetruct. ke was referred to the Planning Commissioxi. A delegation was present from the Prior Lake Busine'se and Professional Club, the-following items were` discussed; street maintenance, snow bird ordin' %nce, street sweeping 4 and parking. Theft was a lengthy- discussion pert��inng to a contribution , requested by the Prior Lake Ski Tow Club. The,�meeting was called ' to ox de y , ay Richard Geren -roll call -Mayor Geren Clerk Gentz, and Councilmen Monnens., Stock., _absent Bees.' , Attorney`Menke' advised he made study with various Municipal. experts- concerning the.. handling of all traffic violations, etc. ;the After the study he recommend cases be handled in the Scott County_ Municipal Court. Motion was made by Stook that all tillage traffio violatione, etc ceases be handled in the`Scott County Municipal Court,- seconded by n z and upon a vote taken it was duly passed. A representative of Lindsay Engineering was present to discuss costs of the proposed annexation areas to,inst`all sewer trunk lines. Estimated costs to the Savage Plant and expansion of the Savage plant would be about. t1, 426, 000.00, and the north route about $1,147,000.00. William Schmokel discussed the study irtiade in regards to the Southelst Sewer District. Motion was made-by Stock to have attorney Menke end a letter to the Southweet Dietrich to ask that Prior Lake be givers consideration for joining the district. Motion was made by Stock to have a public hearing re`ardin the Rural Tazcing District March 4th, 1969 at 7Pi, seconded' by Monnens and upon :a vote taken it was duly passed.
