The Common tounsil of the Village of Prior Lake met in

special session in the office of the Village Clerk Monday

even'ing September 21, 1970 at 9:30 l.M. Mayor Qtosk called
the meeting to order- present were Mayor stock, Clerk fentz
and :Counsilmen Clemens and:Sshommer, absent was councilman

Smith.
Joe Whitney was present to request the extension of sewer
and pater on Kortssh Drive from Cambridge Drive to the most
northerly wont of Prior Acres.2nd Addition. die was advised =

to have his plans and specifications aperoved by Zngineer

Sehmokel and when approved he may proceed.
Motion was made by Clemens to advertise for scaled bids
for snow plowing a one way plow.with bids to be opened

at 730 P.M. October 42th, 1970,, seconded by Sshommer and upon
a vote taken it was duly passed.

Motion was made by Clemons to have h four way stop rigns
installed at the corner of Minnesota Street and It. Paul

Avenue, seconded by Rehommer and upon a, vote taken It was

duly passed.

The purpose of the meeting was to hold hearing for the water
improvement construction in the 8tepka."Achview Addition." No

objections were hoard.: Motion was made by ilemens to approve
the plans and specifications 'for the` sonstruetion of the water>
main improvement in the 8tepka._ highvi w Addition, sssonded by

Cents and upon a vote taken it was duly passed.
,-, Motion was was made by Cents to adopt a resolution urging support
of the Northern Scott County United Fund, seconded by Clemens
a upon a vote taken it w duly pa ssed.
Motion was made by Gents to appoint the following election
judges for the General Zleetion Tuesday November 3rd 1870:

a vote taken it was duly passed. o

dump grounds, on Saturdays only,,`from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M.

vote taken it was duly passed.

objections as to the spread of assosoments.� Motion was
made by Clemens to approve the asesssment roll for filing

At 9:30 P.M. a public hearing; was held for the water imurovemen
project is the 9tepka Highview Addition to hear if any
benefited property , owners objected to the spread of the

assessment roll. aarl Busse: and caul Dussr, Sr. were present

in behalf of Mrs Zmms, Blohm to object to the assessment of
an additional assessment of $892.86 on Lot 4. Motion was made
by @lemons to defer the assessments in the amount of :$892.86
on Lot 4 owned by firs. ,Zmma Blohm such time when a water connection
is made, seconded by Stock and upon a, vote taken it was duly passed.
Potion was made by Clemons to approve „assessment for'the water

Motion was made by Gentz to adopt a resolution levying the,
following sums upon the taxable property in the Village of
Prior Lake for the year 1971:
