Mayor Walter Stack called the meeting to order. Roll call: Mayor. Stock,,, C,ler,.k Gentz, and Councilmen Schommer;,, Clemens, and Busse. Absent was Councilman Smith. 0 A recommwndation was received from the Prior Lake P'Iarrning M Commission regarding a request for variance- from the developer In the Prior Acres First and Second Additions, that the developer contr'uct homes on Lot 1, Block I of the Prior Acres First Addition and Lot 7,9,and 10 of Block 3 of the Prior Acres Second Addition matching the setback of the existing homes, . also homes on Lots- 5' 6, Block 3 of Prior Acres Second Addition to be setback 40 feet so the side setback requirements can be met Motion was made by Busse, seconded by Schommer to grant approval to the above variances and upon a vote taken It was duly passed. Motion was made, by Schommer' before any construction of homes is done on Lots 9 and 10, Block 3 of the Prior Acres Second Addition and Lots 5 and 6, Block 2 of the Prior Acres Second Addition, a bond be posted for water extension to the mo: northernly point o.f 'Lot 10 on Cambridge Drive, sewer extension afpproximate' ly 15 feet northrof Lot -'9" .Block '3 and that- black- top be extended to the most northerly point on Cambridge Drive, , seconded by C�I,,em.ens and upon a vote taken, it was duly passed. Motion was made by Clemens that the developer in the Prior Acres First and Second Addition construct a road north of the Prior Acres Second Addition -to connect Combrdpe Road and Kortsch Drive, developer not rewuired to blaakto'p, seconded by Schommer and upon ,a vote taken, it was duly passed. A ,written notice of resignation was recet,ved from'Plumbing Inspector, 'Clarence Schmidt, with resignation to be effective as soon as inspoctlon In completed on permit 0 188. Motion ' was made b Busse to accept the resignation of Clarence Scheldt, plumbing inspector and upon a° vote taken, the following voted in favor: Mayor. Stock; Against was Councilmen Busse and Schommer., Councilman Clemens abstained. Motion failed. Clerk Gentz wa requested to set up s special meeting with Mr. Schmidt to discus Iris ettgna ion. his resignation and consider cancelling r Vince C. Heneler, owner of property abutting' 9th. Ave. So petitioned for street, water and road improvement.
