G r April 12, 1971 : The Common Council of the Village of Prior Lake met in regular session in the office of the Village Clerk, Monday evening, April 12th., 1971 at 8 :00 P The Meeting was called to orderby Mayor Stock. Roll call: Present were Mayor Stock, Clerk'Gentz and Councilmen Smith, Clemens, Schommer and Busse. Absent: None. Mayor Stock indicated the motion pertaining to the purchase of one Aerotron =64TL4 watt portable radio should have also indicated the invoice will not be payable until July 1, 1971 - motion in the March 8th., 1971 minutes . Coples of all' previous minutes 'for the past month were given to each member of the council several days previous to the meeting. Motion was made by Schommer, seconded by Busse to approve the Minutes. Motion was made by Schommer to approve payment of all bills approved by the Finance Committee, seconded by Busse, and upon a vote taken, it was duly passed. Bob Klehr,, Secretory of the Prior Lake Softball Ass'n. was present and requested per mission to put up, a 25 foot sign at the entrance to the Klehr Softball Field, identifying ° the field.' Motion was made by Schommer to grant permission of the above, seconded :by r Busse,, and; upon a vote taken, it was duly passed. Frank Wicker was- present to request permission to put up .a 20 foot high, 8 foot wide sign W"'Ote property of Wicker -Knox Realty at the corner of Wisconsin.Street and Minnesota Trunk Highway 0 13. Motion was made by Busse to Brant permission to put up the sign If , it does not obstruct vision for traffic entering Highway 8 13 from Wisconsin Street, second " by Schommer, and upon a vote taken; it was,, duly passed. " Motion was made by Busse to downzone the parcel owned by Vince Henzier, abutting Avenue for the purpose of construction of five 36 -unit apariment'buildings from 1 -1 to'' , , seconded by Schommer, and upon a vote taken, It was duly >possod. } ' Doyle Krahl'ing was pres•nt to request the council jo reduce street widths In the Oakwood Hi11s Addition.
