Mayor Stock called the meeting o order. Roll call - y g presentwere :.Ma or Stock and Councilmen Schommer Clemens, and Busse. Absent were Councilman Smith Clerk Gentz. µRtA The placement of the bulk \ gas storage tank and pump was discussed: Motion was made by Schommer that the gas storoLte tank and pump be placed in the vicinity of just west of the drying tower, south of the Viiiage Fire Hall, seconded by Clemens, and upon a vote taken, it was duly passed. Motion was made by Clemens that the storm sewer running just north of the Deny Ha an garage be extended 80 feet with tha cost to be estimated at $55.00, seconded by r . and upon a vote taken, it was duly passed,. Motion was made ,S Busse to adopt Ordinance No. 71 -4 an Ordinance regulating and controlling the growth of west, grass, brush and other poisonous and harmful vegetation in the Village of Prior Lake, Minnesota for the full ( tautf see ordinance. filed in ordinance book), 0conded by Clemens, and upon a vote taken, it was duly passed. Motion was made by I.Q. that the water connection rates regarding Ordinance No. { 71 -3 be delayed in the Stepka Finn Addition until August 1, 1971, and that the connection charge be $200.00 until August lst., 1971, and $450.00 thereafter, seconded by Busse, and upon .a vote taken, It was duly passed. Don S I� chommer is to sell the old street sweeper to Warren Doble for whatever cash he can get, seconded by Clemens, and upon a vote taken, it was duly passed. A public hearing was held at 7:30 P.M. , April 19th., 1971, to consider the Construction- of Sanitary Sewer and Watennain Extension and Street Improvements on Ninth Avenue, form State Highway 13 in Section 2 T 114, R 22 East and North in Section 1, T 114, R 22 to a connection with State Highway ;13 in Section 36, T115, R 22. The total cost of the proposed improvements is approximately =270,000.00. The area proposed b be assessed for suck im Pro vements is every lot piece , p or parcel of land within the Village of Prior 1 Lake benefited by said improvements abutting thereon, based on benefits received and without regard to cash valuation. Such persons who wanted to be heard with reference to the proposed improvements were heard. Those present at thw hearing Mr. Vince Hencler, Mr. Lawrence Schweich, Mr. Brooks Hauser, Mr., William Schomkel, Mr. George Borgerding, Mr. & Mr$'4 Joe Lyons, Mr. Elmer Busse, and Mr. A.J. Schunk.. May IOth., 1971, at which time bids will be opened and publicly read aloud for construction of Sanitary Sewer Watermain and Street Project 71 -1 (Section l), seconded, by Clemens, and upon a vote tok it was duly passed.
