November 30, 1971 "-'"� The Common Council of the Village of Prior Lake met in special session in :the office of the Village Clerk, Tuesday evening, November 30th;, 1971 at 8:30 P.M. Mayor `v Stock -- called the meeting to order. Roll Call: 'Present were Mayor,, Stock, Clerk Go and Councilmen Sn-ith, Clemens and Busse. Absent was Councilman Schanmer. The special election of Scott County November 30th., 1971 in regards to file $"5,000.Op � bond issue election. returns were as follow:: 140 votes were cast, voting yes were 46 and, voting No were 94. Motion was made by Clemons to accept tM election returns as � listed above, seconded by Busse and upon a vote taken, it was duly passed. Truck specifications were drawn by Don Schommer for,the porchase of a new village truck. Motion was made by Busse to advertise for sealed bids to purchase a new village, heck with the bids to be received until 8 :00 -P.M., December 13th., 1971. Contingent upon the approval of Don Schommer, seconded by Clement and upon a vote taken, it was duly passed. Motion was made b `Clemens to approve �) d' Y_ ppro .change. Order ; N_o,,. I to Increase the contract h* N1nth Avenue Project of White Construction to install extra syes and tees on . # to the amount of $3,686.00,' seconded by Stack and upon a vote ta ken, it was duly passed. Motlor%Wwas made by Clemens to accept the proposal by Fred Hoaington of Mauer" Atsoclates, Inc., to prepare necessary data as requested by the Minnesota Municipal Co- mtaton for the hearing dated December 20. 1971 in rsgards to the Prior Lake Eagle Creek Cionsollclatio The estimated services to be approximately =3,700.00., seconded by Buts* and upon,a vote taken, it wet duly - paned'. Mayor Stock advised that the furnace in the Village Hall is not operating property and same repair should be made to sane. Clemens suggested that since the village has a contract with,the Standard Oil Co, for maintenance and repair they should be ' contacted to.makee necessary repairs, . , Motion was made by Clemens to adopt Ordinance No. 71-20, an Ordinance licensing and regulating the sale and consumption of intoxicating liquor, `replealing'the inconslihnt ordinances and providing a penalty for violation, (ordinance filed in and nce book) aconded by ,Buss and upon a vote t the fol lowing voted In firicil thereof: Mayor Stock, and Councilmen Clemons and Butte.
