The Commoei Council of,the City of Prior Lake met -- special session on June 30 1975-

at 7:30 P.M. in the City Council Chambers. 'Mayor Stock called the meeting to order.

Present were Mayor Stock, Councilmen Busse, Haberkorn, and Williams, A.dministrotor

McGuire, Engineer Anderson, Engineer isroelson, Engineer Qureshi, and Attorney

Sullivan. Councilman Ciukes was absent.

The first item "on the agenda was the Public Hearing for Water and Sewer Project
75 -3=1

Mayor: Stock' read the Public'hlotce for Water and Sewer Project 75 -3 -1 Public

Hearing.
Engineer Isroelson presented information and costs on Project 75 -3 -1,
Engineer Isroelson presented` and bxplained sanitary. sewer, and watermain assessments.
Mayor Stock explained the sewer -and water connection charges.
Mayor Stock for
asked questions from .the. audience.
Motion was made' by Busse,�to approve Sewer and Water Project 75 -3 -1, seconded, by
Haberkorn and upon a vote taken it was duly passed.

Engineer Israelson stated the completion date of Project 75 -3`-1 should be about
thirty days after the end of the strike."<

Mayor Stock directed Engineer Isrceison to prepare cichange order for Project 75 -3 -1
and submit it to Engineer Anderson for processing at the next regular Council meeting.

Mr. Robert Robbs asked where the line would run in relation to the roadway.
Engineer Israelson stated approximately twenty %etoff the center of'the roadway.
Mr '. Robbs asked if there would be any change in the drainage. Engineer Israelson
stated there would not be any change except for one culvert.

Motion was made by Williamss, adjourn the Public Hearing, seconded by Busse and

Attorney Sullivan presented information on the Marsip project stating thothe has talked_ .
to the ottorn p of the bonding company and they seem wry noncommittal, they deny
the responsibility 4w the road and say that it shoul0imot have been bla"pped and' : -
stated there is nothing they can do at this time because of the strike. Attorney
Sullivan stated that it does not seem anyone is very anxious to solve the C ity's
problem; therefore, it comes back to the Councti as to whether or not this wanuto

use the I City crews or hire a local contractor to come in and fix the roods up so they

are passable. Atssrney Sullivan stated he dill not know wblii bonding company
or its agents are goin5g to take over and do thisr-job; but it does not look Like it is
going to be in the near future and recommended that the Ci ty go ahead aced, fix the
roads, up so they are passable and hopefully the City wi I I recover these funds through
the banding company'eventually,

to fill in the road with grovel to make , the road possable Tana it wouid take a couple of
days to complete the work.
Mayor Stock requested that the road be photographed again „and berm placed on'the
edges of the road where there are pMWme.
