September 11, 1975 The Common Council of the City of Prior Lake met in special session on " September 11, 1975 at 730 P.M. M ayor Stock called the meeting to order. f Present were Mayor Stock, Councilmen Busse, Haberkorn, Oakes and Willi&M, Administrator McGuare, Engineer Anderson and Attorney Sullivan. Mayor Stock read the Notice of Hearing for the Water Tower Assessment. Councilman Oakes explained the $150.00 Water Tower Assessment., Notion was made by Williams to approve the assessment roll as prepared, and to file it with the County A uditor's Office, seconded by Oakes and upon a vote taken it was duly passed. ayor Stock read the Notice of Hearing for Sewer and Water Project 75-2, d then, the meeting over to<Councilman Oakes. Mr. Oakes_ explained he assessment policy and the cast of the project. Norbert Traxler representing parcels "PI,3t,0, PI,341, and P1.2-280-D' stated that e accuracy of assessments on all three parcals should be rechecked. and that he objected to the vost per acre for the storm sewer. Parcel #PhG►131 should be rechecked to see, ; the 110 front feet is correct. Motion was made by Oakes that the assessment roll for _Project ?5Q be approved with the possible modification as noted, and that it be4iled frith the County Auditor's Office,, seconded by Busse and upon a vote taken it was duly _ pas sed . P� Mayor Stock read the Notice of Hearing for the Paving ,& Storm Sewer'Pro3ects and then turned the meeting over to Councilman Haberkorn. Meunc Haberkorn explained the Paving Assessment policies and then asked for questions. Several residents of Red Oaks expressed their concern over the increased coat of paving. Councilman Oakes instructed the Engineers to prepare a complete breakdown of the paving costs for Red Oaks. Mr. Ray Gormley presented a list of items that had to be repaired on the 1�feat Avenue paving project. Th list was turned over to the Engineers for r. action.i ; : requested that his W endell h requ paving assessment be rechecked. qW Tom lvester -stated that Spring Brook Park Road, is not satisfactory.: This was referred to,.the Engineers, Nrg S elld & Mr. Barden objected to their Storm Sewer Assessment. Motion was m by ,'Oakes to continue the assessment hearing for Project 74 until January 26, . 7:30 P.M., seconded by Haberkorn and upon :a vote,. taken it was, duly passed.
