Mayor Stock called the meeting to order: <' Present were Mayor Stock, Councilmen Busse, Oakes, Watkins, and Wi Iliams, Manager. McGuire, Engineer Anderson, and Attorne y Sulli - The following correction was made to the Minutes of April 26, 1976= Page two paragraph two, should read - Councilman Oakes stated whether the park makes use ' Of the facility or does not make use of the facility in the eyes of the law it would be } benefited property. It would seem wise to him that `park property which is at the pleasure of the City Council for the purpose of the common good to be assessed and " that assessment would eventuall y . be paid out of `the. general fund, .which comes close: ` a to a payment by the public for the common good and it is his recommendation that pu blic proper , Pu proper :whether it is park or whether it is other Ctty property dcerried to be benefited, be assessed. PURCHASE OF TZL PT, ' City Manager McGuire stated tha !,Mayor Stock and he have negotiated with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Watzl for Loh 3 and 4 of Watzl's Point also LO LOTS 3 4 and 200 feet across from Watzl's point known as Parcel 0 7808, the total, purchase price is $71,452,95; ft downy and 20% thereafter. Mr. and Mrs- Watzl would pay off all of the assessments on the ` parcel and he recommended the approval,.
