The Common Council. of the City of Prior Lake met iz; regular session on /
October 18, 1976 at 7:30 P.M, in the City Council Chambers.:, Mayor Stock
called,
the meeting to order. Present were Mayor'Stock, Councilmen, Busse,
Bissonett, and bakes, City Manager McGuire, Engineer Finance
Director NacGillivray, Park Director Jambois,:`and Attorney Sullivan.

BARRIERS TO
A memo dated October 15, 1976 was presented to the Mayor and City Council
from the Park Staff regarding parking lot barriers at Lakefront,,Park for
LAKEFRONT PRN
Council discussion.

i Mayor Stock directed the City Manager 'to send letters to the Snowmobile
PARK UNLESS
Clubs informing them that there is no snowmobiing it Lakefront Park unless
MARKED TRAIL
they are prepared to mark a trail through the park area again and to place
no snowmobiling signs along Ridgemont Avenue and Red Oaks Road. Councilman

Bissonett is to work with PLAY regarding maki sure the

Park are closed and locked in the evening after the hockey games and
practice sessions.

and City Council regarding dutch elmadministration for Council review and '

Motion was made by Busse to hold a Public Hearing on November 22,, 1976 at
7 :30 P.M.9 at the Prior Lake City Hall - to , discuss bonding for the,removal
of diseased trees, seconded by Bissonett and upon a vote taken it was duly
passed.
City Manager McGuire stated that the Park.Director was at a meeting ,this
morning regarding dutch elm disease and it appears that the State will be
pissing some type of legislation for matching funds similar to this year's
program with So% matching funds.

City Council regarding paving of Fish_Point Road for Council review and
discussion.
Motion was made by Busse to hold a Public Hearing on November 8, 1976 at
8:00 P.M. at the Prior Lake City Hall for paving of Fish Point Road between
County Road 44 and Highway 13, seconded by Bissonett and -upon a vote taken
it was duly passed,
